Tax Preparation Assistance
HPP maintains a Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program with funding from the United Way of the Bay Area. The VITA program offers free income tax preparation assistance to low- to moderate-income families and individuals.
HPP provides one-on-one support related to a variety of public benefit programs, including Medi-Cal, CalFresh (Food Stamps) and CalWORKs.
In partnership with 5 Keys Charter School, HPP provides onsite educational services to help individuals obtain their high school diploma or GED.
Resume & Interview Workshop
Weekly drop-in assistance is available for clients who wish to create a resume and prepare for interviews. Clients are also informed about local job openings and connected to partnering companies and organizations.
In partnership with Consumer Credit Counseling Service of San Francisco, HPP offers onsite, one-on-one financial coaching in areas like household budgeting and saving, debt management, and building and improving credit history.
