Founder & Executive Director Martha Ryan and New Beginnings Case Manager Carrie Hamilton were invited to speak at Old Navy’s Community Town Hall on May 26th to an audience of over 150 Old Navy design team employees. The speaking engagement continues a year-long partnership with the Old Navy design department, which has adopted HPP to be the recipient of multiple beautification projects and volunteer efforts in 2010. Read more about Old Navy’s adoption of HPP.
The town hall also featured “volunteer stations” for Old Navy employees to sign up for ways to get involved at HPP. Several projects include an upcoming Soup Drive, a redesign of the Wellness Center, a Children’s Book Drive, and uniforms for children of HPP clients.
Old Navy Senior Vice President of Adult Design Michael Ingram Jones praised Ryan and Hamilton’s speeches about HPP’s work in the community. After the event, Jones acclaimed, ”Everyone has been talking about it since! Everyone was just blown away by the organization – your stories – and want to get involved with our next initiatives to help.”
Thank you so much to the Old Navy design department for all of your thoughtfulness and generosity! HPP is honored and thrilled to continue our partnership with you throughout the year!
