HPP has been chosen to participate in The San Francisco Foundation’s immediate disaster response grant program, in which HPP will be granted $25,000 to provide essential services – including food, shelter, healthcare, and mental healthcare – to Bay Area vulnerable communities in the first month following a disaster.
HPP has committed to developing an organizational emergency plan that will enable us to serve our communities effectively and quickly. SFCARD (San Francisco Community Agencies Responding to Disaster) will be providing training and information to help facilitate the creation and development of HPP’s emergency plan and staff personal preparedness.
Thank you to The San Francisco Foundation for partnering with the HPP and leading this major undertaking that recognizes and addresses the critical role nonprofits can play in the aftermath of a disaster.
